October 2011 - We are excited to have our new physician - Dr Lina Maria Hernandez MD - join our practice.
Dr Hernandez comes with excellent training in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology from
University of Miami/ Miller School of Medicine, with special interest in IBD, obesity and liver
disorders. She will be an invaluable resource for patients that are more comfortable conversing
in Spanish.

The Florida Children's Center for Gastroenterology specializes in the diagnosis, management and treatment both common and complex diseases of the gastrointestinal system, pancreas and liver. We also specialize in nutritional issues, weight disorders and feeding problems.
Among our well trained staff is Dr Sanjay Khubchandani MD, who is expertly trained and US board certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. With several years of expertise in his field, he specializes in treating infants, children and adolescents with gastrointestinal issues such as gastroesophageal reflux, feeding difficulties, chronic abdominal pain, constipation, Crohn disease and colitis, growth and nutritional concerns.
With consulting privileges at both childrens' hospitals - Walt Disney Pavilion at Florida Hospital and Arnold Palmer Hospital, Dr Khubchandani is also the recipient of many awards including Best Doctors in America 2010-11 & 2011-12, Orlando's Best Doctors 2009, 2010 and 2011 and the Patients' Choice Awards, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
Dr Lina M. Hernandez MD is expertly trained in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology from the University of Miami/ Miller school of Medicine. She has special interests in inflammatory bowel disease, liver disorders, short gut syndromes and obesity related co-morbidities. She has consulting privileges at Walt Disney Pavilion at Florida Hospital and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.
